NATIONAL REAL ESTATE REPORT FROM COMPASS

Compass has recently released the National Real Estate Insights Report. In May, the median house sales price in the U.S. reached a record high of $424,500, surpassing its previous peak at the end of the pandemic boom. The median condo/co-op sales price in May also hit a new high of $371,300. Condos and co-ops are generally considered a more affordable alternative to houses and are predominantly found in metro-area markets.
